A man that I have been talking to was in my dreams and in real life, he is such an amazing person. Emotionally intelligent, secure, kind, tall, follows the rules, keeps me out of trouble and is so affectionate. In the dream, he began being mean to me and cussing at me. Calling me names and Degrading me. I then shifted to a scene in a huge house that had my Mother and two of my children inside. My two children were running all over this section of the house. The other section contained people who I assumed owned the house. They didn't like my children running all over the place and blocked off their end of the house. My mother looked sad and miserable. I had to physically catch my children as they were running supernaturally fast through this maze of a house. I caught them mid run and laid them down to sleep. I looked down a dark hallway and two figures stood in the hallways in the shadows.. I could see that it was a man and woman. The woman standing in front of the man. Both were facing me. I began to say 'in the name of Jesus, you have to leave.' But my speech was slow and stifled.. I kept repeating it better and better each time. The woman smiled and tilted her head and put her face directly in front of my face. I could see her in the moonlight through the window. She took a deep breath and blew her exhaled breath over my face. I could see it like it was cold. The breath blew over my face and through my hair. I said louder 'you have no power here, in Jesus' name.. you have to flee in His name.' They both stood for a second. Opened the door they were standing in front of and walked through it. I watched them leave and woke up.
Dreams often serve as mirrors reflecting our subconscious thoughts, fears, and emotions. In your dream, the presence of the man you admire and trust transitioning from kind to harmful could symbolize various aspects of your psyche. Here’s a breakdown of the elements in your dream for a deeper interpretation:
The Man’s Transformation: His initial positive qualities represent what you appreciate and desire in relationships—emotional intelligence, security, kindness. However, his sudden negativity may indicate underlying fears or anxieties about being hurt by someone you trust. This shift could reflect a fear of abandonment or betrayal, suggesting that you might have unresolved issues with vulnerability or intimacy. It raises questions about how well you feel you can rely on others and whether you fear they might turn against you.
The House: The large house symbolizes your personal space, emotions, and family dynamics. Different sections of the house can represent various areas of your life. The presence of your mother and children suggests a focus on family, nurturing, and your role as a caretaker.
Children Running Wild: Your children’s high energy and their running in the house may represent your desire to protect the innocent or vulnerable parts of your life. It may reflect your worries about managing your responsibilities and the chaos that can ensue in family life. You seeking to catch them highlights your role in trying to maintain order and safety, which could point to a feeling of being overwhelmed by your duties as a parent or guardian.
Your Mother’s Sadness: Your mother’s presence and her misery could symbolize inherited familial concerns, perhaps reflecting unresolved issues or worries that you may carry from her to your own children. It might signify a desire to break free from patterns that you perceive to be negative within your family lineage.
The Dark Hallway and Figures: The dark hallway symbolizes fear or uncertainty in your life. The figures, particularly the woman exhaling a cold breath, could represent negativity or fears trying to invade your space. The act of blowing cold breath can signify a kind of chilling fear or emotional disturbance. This is where your confrontation comes in—a struggle against negative influences or entities that could represent your inner doubts, fears, or even external influences in your life.
Spiritual Invocation: Your repeated declaration, “in the name of Jesus, you have to leave,” reflects a strong desire for protection and empowerment. The stifled speech at first may indicate feelings of powerlessness or difficulty articulating your fears or assertiveness in your waking life. As your voice grows stronger, it symbolizes a developing confidence and resilience in the face of threats or negativity, showing your capability to reclaim your space and assert your boundaries.
Resolution: Watching the figures walk away signifies a release of these fears and a reclaiming of your autonomy. The dream suggests that you do have the strength to confront challenging feelings or situations, particularly regarding relationships and family dynamics.
Overall, this dream may be urging you to confront any fears related to your closest relationships and family responsibilities. It encourages you to cultivate an inner strength and resilience in dealing with chaos and uncertainty, enabling you to protect yourself and your loved ones against negativity, whether it's external or internal.
